Start Your Journey...
While I realize the title of this page is somewhat of a clichē I've chosen it as a reminder that whatever path we take on our journey it is our path. No one can walk it for us. We must take full responsibility for and ownership of it. We can listen to and learn from others, we can even take advice along the way and walk with others, but the journey remains ours alone.
The title also contains the word start even though as you are reading this it is highly unlikely you are just starting your journey of exploring your awareness and consciousness. What is the case is you are likely starting your journey through the material on this website and there is a lot of it. You will find over 1,600 pages for you to read and consider.
The content is not merely a bunch of random essays. It is based on a consistent set of core concepts and definitions, many of which are in the Concepts section, that build upon one another. When going through them you may find that I use different terminology and/or have meaning for terms than you do or perhaps are accustomed to. The differences can be small and of little consequence or large enough to significantly change how you interpret the content. I ask that when this happens, as you go through the material, you try to understand and remember mine. I am asking you this as doing so will help to minimize misunderstandings due to how you interpret what I am sharing and not to get you to give up or change yours.
Given that each essay provides a foundation for the essays that follow as well, as for those found in the General Writings section, I highly recommend reading them in the order they appear in the menu even though you may be familiar with many of the ideas and concepts. This will help ensure that you get a clearer mental picture of the ideas I am sharing, one based on how I define terms and so on.
Once you are ready to start going through the material, your first stop is going to be the Section 1: Concepts section. When you get there, remember to review the short introduction before proceeding to the essays. You can also access the essays from the Twin Powers Curriculum Guide and of course using the site menus though some are restricted to Members of this website. When you have gone through the essays in the Concepts section follow the same process for the remaining two sections, which are Growth Fundamentals and Spiritual Development.
Some of the essays have exercises associated with them and you will find the link to exercises in the essay (sample of how exercise links are displayed is shown below). The exercises are meant to be done when they are encountered in an essay and not before doing so. The reason is they are designed to reinforce the concepts covered in it and/or to to help you develop skills that will aid you in your exploration and growth. There is no link to the title page of the Section 4: Exercises on this page though one can be found in the Twin Powers Curriculum Guide.

This is also why the material flows best when the suggested reading order is followed. I am not providing links to the next essay in the list as it is best to take some time to think about and contemplate the content. In some of the longer essays you may want to even pause after reading a few pages to do this.
You can begin your journey through the material by following this link to Section 1 - Concepts.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The intent of this site is to help those who choose to explore new ideas as well as work on their personal and spiritual growth on their own. At the same time, some life issues can be too big to handle by ourselves, and external assistance may be required. Do not ignore the potential support and assistance that can come from family and friends or from what a good counselor, psychologist or therapist. If you find you need or want some outside help look for resources that fit with you and your belief system (unless your belief system(s) are part of the problem, feel you can trust and uses methods you are comfortable with.
