Section 2B
Personal Development
In the previous, Section 2A: Core Growth Elements, we built on our understanding of core concepts about ourselves to help us with personal growth. In this section we will build on the concepts covered in the previous section and will look at some of the common challenges most of us face at one point or another. By the former I am referring to expanding on self examination both in why and how we can go about it. In the latter case, to using the 'growth elements and skills' what we have already to looked dealing with strong emotional responses, judgmental tendencies and make changes essential for growth.
Obviously, it is not possible to look at every possible issue we can face in life and I will not try to. While I intend to add more essays to both Growth Fundamentals sections the material available in this and the previous section will provide you with a greater understanding of why and how we react to experiences. We can benefit from knowing how and why our minds react to experiences they way they do. This helps us to both teach and retrain our minds so we react and deal with our issues in ways that benefit rather than hinder us.
NOTE:
Below is a list of essays in this section that should be read in the listing order with a link to them. If there is an exercise to go with the essay it will be listed indented under the essay.
